Ad Restore Ltd is a UK Google Ads suspension recovery service registered in Scotland, with its registered office in Dumfries. Nothing is charged up front, and an invoice is raised only once your Google Ads account has been reinstated. If the account is not reinstated, no invoice is raised. The sequence is always the same: a free consultation first, where we go through your business, what happened before and after the suspension, and the account itself on a screen share; then a quotation and a written proposal, priced on the policy type involved and the work the account actually needs; nothing begins until that proposal is signed; then we link your account to our agency account and review it properly; then we file the appeal. The invoice comes last of all, after reinstatement.
No fix, no fee is a fee arrangement, not an outcome guarantee. Reinstatement is Google’s decision and nobody can promise it. We decline about 20 to 30% of the enquiries we receive for that reason, rather than take a fee for work that cannot succeed.
What “no fix, no fee” means, and what it does not mean
Definition: no fix, no fee is a billing arrangement. It governs when an invoice is raised, and nothing else. It does not move the risk of Google’s decision onto us, because that risk cannot be moved by anybody. Put the other way round: if the account is not reinstated, no invoice is raised and there is nothing to pay.
Google is explicit about what a suspension does. Its policy documentation states that all ads in the suspended account will stop running
and we will no longer accept advertising from you, unless successfully appealed
(What happens if you violate our policies). The same page states: Any related accounts (for example, accounts using the same payment method) will also be suspended, and any new accounts you create will be automatically suspended.
So the route back is a successful appeal, and no third party can underwrite that. Any provider promising you reinstatement is promising something they do not control. Our commitment is narrower and real: the invoice comes after the reinstatement, not before it.
The order things happen in
- Free consultation. Your business, what happened before and after the suspension, and what has been done in the account since, with a screen preview of it. Not charged for.
- Quotation and written proposal, based on the policy involved and the work the account needs, both assessed on that call.
- Signed proposal. The signed proposal is what starts the work. Nothing is done on the account before it.
- Account linked by customer ID. We never ask for your password.
- Full review of the account, with access in place.
- Second sit-down covering everything that needs to be changed and adjusted.
- First appeal filed, then Google’s response.
- If reinstated, we tell you, and post-restoration support runs from the day the reinstatement email arrives.
- Invoice raised. This happens only after reinstatement, and it is the last step in the sequence.
Why we never ask for your password
In our experience, most suspension services ask for direct sign-in access. We will not. Google’s own security guidance is unambiguous: Do not share your passwords. Google never asks for your password in an email, message, or phone call.
(Make your account more secure). The manager account link exists precisely so that handing over credentials is unnecessary.
We need only your Google Ads customer ID. We send a link request from our manager account, and Google handles the rest: Users with access to the Google Ads account you sent a link request to will receive emails inviting them to link to your account. After the invited account accepts your invitation, you’ll receive an email confirmation and the account will be automatically linked to your manager account.
(About Google Ads manager accounts). You accept or decline that invitation yourself. Google sends the invitation email, and in our experience it reaches the client within one to five days of the request being made.
You keep ownership throughout. A manager link gives us what we need to audit the account and file appeals on your behalf: the customer IDs, the change history, the full policy record. It never gives us your sign-in details, because with a manager account you won’t be able to change proprietary information for a client account, such as the account’s sign-in information
, and users with administrative access can terminate the relationship with the manager account at any time by unlinking their account
(same page).
A linked manager account is technically capable of managing campaigns. We do not manage them. As a matter of policy we specify what has to change and you make the change. Separately, and as a matter of fact rather than policy, a suspended account cannot be edited while the suspension stands, which in our experience is why infringing lines have to be cited in the appeal rather than corrected in the account.
What makes a case cheap, and what makes it expensive
The fee is not one fixed number, because it depends on the policy type involved and on the condition of the account, both of which are assessed during the free consultation. The quotation comes at the end of that call, before any work starts and before your account is linked to ours. These are the ranges we quote within.
| Case type | Fee |
|---|---|
| Circumventing systems | £600 to £1,000 |
| Unacceptable business practices | £1,100 to £1,500 |
| Suspicious payment activity | Around £300 |
| Business operations verification | Around £500 |
| Google Merchant Center suspension | £1,000 to £1,500 |
| Google Business Profile suspension | £500 |
| Setting up a new Google Ads account | Around £500 |
| Ongoing support after the 14 days | £500 per calendar month, or £250 for existing clients |
These are the factors that move a quotation within those ranges.
| Factor | Straightforward | More work, higher quotation |
|---|---|---|
| Domains in the account | One domain. Straightforward assessment and straightforward pricing. | Two or more domains in the account, which complicates both the assessment and the pricing. |
| Disapprovals predating the suspension | None. The appeal addresses the suspension itself. | Multiple prior disapprovals. Every one of them has to be addressed as part of the appeal, not just the event that triggered the suspension. |
| Ad copy in a frozen account | Nothing needs citing line by line. | In our experience, once an account is suspended its copy can no longer be edited, by you or by us through the manager link. Every infringing keyword or line has to be researched and cited individually in the appeal, which can add hours. |
| Fatal flaws | None found at assessment. | A tracking URL that Google has deemed phishing, for example, would not permit the account to be reinstated at all. |
Enquiries we decline, and why
About 20 to 30% of the enquiries we receive are turned away, at no cost to you. That decision is made at the consultation stage, before any fee is quoted and before your account is linked to ours.
Some situations are difficult rather than automatically declined. We assess these and tell you plainly what we think:
- Multiple businesses advertised under one Google Ads account. This may be very difficult. We assess it rather than decline it on sight.
- Multiple Google accounts run without a company or individual name attached, where the advertiser has been blacklisted. Very difficult, but not impossible. It depends on the willingness of the person to put things right. If the account is blacklisted and Google will not accept the link, we cannot take the case on, and we will discuss other options with you if you still want to advertise.
Some things we decline outright:
- Bad practice. Where we judge that there is bad practice involved, we decline the case rather than take it on.
- Mimicking another business. We say plainly that reinstatement is not achievable, rather than spend your money or ours pursuing it.
- Fatal flaws found at the assessment. A tracking URL that Google has deemed phishing, for example, would not permit the account to be reinstated at all.
Google publishes the policies behind the hardest of these. Its Abusing the ad network policy states: If violations of this policy are found, your Google Ads accounts will be suspended upon detection and without prior warning, and you will not be allowed to advertise with Google Ads again.
The same wording appears in the Misrepresentation policy, where unacceptable business practices sits. Those wordings are why we assess before quoting rather than after.
What you have to do yourself
Documentation. Google needs to establish that you are a real person or business. We cannot produce that for you, and it must be accurate and authentic. In our experience, documentation that is vague, or that describes someone other than the person actually running the business, is among the most common reasons an appeal fails, and a mismatch of that kind is the thing to correct before an appeal is filed.
Landing page changes. You make them, never us. We specify precisely what must change, and it must be done to that specification or a successful appeal cannot be achieved. In our experience, failed appeals are rarely about strategy. They are about procedural flaws and instructions not being followed.
How many appeals
We tend to get either the first or the second appeal sorted. We aim for the first, but if not, the second. It is rarely, if ever, the third appeal, and if a case reaches that point, then we would explore other options with you.
Google publishes a hard cap at ad level: Each ad is limited to 3 appeals. If you appeal an ad unsuccessfully 3 times, you won’t be able to file an appeal for that ad again until you reach out to customer support.
(Fix a disapproved ad or appeal a policy decision). That limit governs individual disapproved ads, not account suspension appeals, and we know of no published equivalent for suspensions. The reason the full review comes before the first filing is simpler than a counter: an appeal is better made once, properly.
After reinstatement: the 14 days
The 14 days start on the day your reinstatement email arrives, not on the day you pay. While your account is linked to our manager account we monitor it for disapprovals, policy flags and limited serving, and we handle anything that arises at no additional charge. The manager account link stays in place until day 15 regardless of payment, but the 14 days of support require the invoice to be settled. Monitoring and response are what we provide. We cannot prevent Google from suspending an account, and no provider can.
Day one sets the parameters the account should stay inside while it settles. The reasoning is not about appearances: every change you make to a freshly reinstated account is another thing that has to stand up to policy, and the fixes that won the appeal should be the account’s settled state rather than one of several things in flux.
| Day | What happens | What we ask you not to do |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | We email to confirm that restoration support has commenced, and either a short call or an email sets out the parameters the account should stay inside. | No large budget increases, no changes to geographic targeting, no significant campaign or ad adjustments. |
| Day 3 | We audit the account for any disapproved ads that still remain and any keywords flagged in the appeal, confirm those have been changed, and check that impressions are picking up and nothing is limiting serving. | The same parameters as day one still apply. |
| Day 7 | We are monitoring throughout for disapprovals, policy flags and limited serving, and we tell you what we can see from our end. | Still nothing sharp or sudden. |
| Day 14 | Support concludes with a closing email. It can be extended as a retained monthly service at £500 per calendar month, or £250 for existing clients. On the ongoing service you get priority over new clients, as an existing client. | Nothing further. |
Included in the 14 days: any suspension, ad disapproval or billing flag that arises on the account. We prepare and file the appeals and correspond with Google Ads support on your behalf, so you do not have to. The work is done in house rather than passed on.
Not covered: anything outside the Google Ads ecosystem, including Google Business Profile, Google Merchant Center and anything Gmail related. Those are separate pieces of work and are quoted separately.
What voids it: not supplying documentation promptly, not following the compliance instructions given, and ignoring the advice on budget and targeting. Those two weeks are where the account starts to settle, and the settling continues past day 14: in our experience it takes a couple of Google Ads payments rather than a fixed number of days. An advertiser who raises budgets sharply or changes targeting inside that window is working against the appeal that has just succeeded.
