This policy explains when Ad Restore Ltd refunds the fee for a Google Ads or Merchant Center service, and how refunds are paid. It forms part of our terms and conditions. Last updated 17 September 2026.
The short version
- If we review your case and can’t take it on, you get a full refund.
- Appeal services: If your account isn’t reinstated after up to 3 appeals, you get a 50% refund.
- Verification services: If your account isn’t verified after up to 2 submissions, you get a 50% refund.
- Merchant Center: If your account isn’t reinstated after up to 2 review requests, you get a 50% refund.
- These refunds depend on the definitions and conditions below.
- 14 days of post-reinstatement support is included in every service, so it isn’t charged or refunded separately.
Paying for a service
You pay up front, by card at checkout or by a secure payment link after your consultation. Prices are in GBP and no VAT is added, because Ad Restore Ltd is not VAT registered. Current prices are on each service page and in section 3 of our terms.
Before work starts: a full refund if we decline
- We check every case within 1 working day before work starts. If you bought without a consultation, that includes a Companies House check that you’re an owner or director of the business.
- If we decline your case, you get a full refund, including any add-ons bought with it.
- If you’re not an owner or director, a director must authorise the work before we start.
What “not reinstated” and “not verified” mean
Your account counts as not reinstated, or not verified, when:
- Google rejects the last appeal, submission or review request included in your service; or
- we tell you in writing that another appeal, submission or review request has no realistic chance.
When there’s no refund
The refund for an account that isn’t reinstated or verified doesn’t apply if:
- you hold back information we asked for;
- you make account or website changes against our advice;
- you create new Google Ads or Merchant Center accounts during the case;
- you submit your own appeals, verification attempts or review requests during the case;
- the facts turn out to be materially different from what you told us, for example undisclosed related accounts, trading names or regulator rulings; or
- you told us you were an owner or director, or that a director had authorised the work, and that wasn’t true.
Add-ons
- If we decline your case before work starts, any add-ons bought with it are refunded in full.
- If an add-on can’t be used, it’s refunded in full.
- Once an add-on’s work has been delivered, it isn’t refundable.
How and when refunds are paid
- We refund the card you paid with, through Stripe, within 14 days of the decision that triggers the refund: our decision to decline, Google’s rejection of the last included appeal, submission or review request, or our written advice that another has no realistic chance.
- A refund can only go back to a card for a limited time after the payment. If that’s no longer possible, we pay by bank transfer to an account in the business’s name.
- Your card provider may take several working days to show the refund.
